chapter 6

the chapter starts by gatsby telling a reporter about his life and what really happened. after that nick goes over to gatsbys house to find tom and the sloans there. They invite gatsby to dinner rudely and he accepts but they leave before he can join them. tom and daisy then go to the next party at gatsbys. it seems as if daisy isnt having much fun at the party but she says she is. they leave and then gatsby is depressed because daisy was unhappy.

if daisy loves gatsby why doesnt she just leave tom since she knows he has another girl anyway?
